Yoga

Yoga unites the body with the mind and the mind with the spirit.  Through Yoga the world becomes brighter and new levels of inner peace, joy and wellbeing are experienced.

Contrary to popular belief, yoga is not just a series of exercises to make you look good on the outside. It will also give you a great inner feeling of wellbeing and wholeness. It is the original holistic health practice, it is not a religion.

Yoga incorporates conscious awareness, postures, movement, breathing and relaxation techniques that bring about strength, flexibility, vitality and peach of mind. Practising Yoga regularly develops a strong connection to your body’s own wisdom. 

By strengthening and realigning the muscles, this enables energy to flow freely in your body. Your posture will improve naturally to allow more freedom and ease in the body and breath.  The muscles will become flexible, toned and strong. 

Yoga is not about who can be the best, perform the most difficult contortions or struggling with a stress workout.  It is about working at your own pace, respecting your body and its abilities and doing the best you can, which only you can judge.
